International Maritime Industries (IMI) Visit to NMA

On March 14, 2023, as part of National Maritime Academy’s (NMA) efforts to explore potential future collaborations and strengthen the relationship and partnership with sponsoring companies , Representatives from International Maritime Industries (IMI) visited NMA. This will allow NMA to have a clarity on future strategy of collaboration with IMI. NMA presented an overview of the Academy covering its training capabilities in developing training programs for ship building, marine and port operations. The visit included a tour to NMA’s facilities, and the workshops. There was also an opportunity for IMI to meet their learners and had discussion with them on the importance of attendance and opening communication lines between the company and their employees .At the end of the meeting a group of IMI learners were recognized for their academic achievement and their training progress.
